Atlas Polymers Guidance Notes
Below are a number of documents that give the general principles involved in using some of Atlas Polymers’ materials.
Whilst not exhaustive for every material under all circumstances they will give new users an idea of the procedures required in order to use the materials successfully, and can act as reminders for those with more experience.
Currently there are three Guidance Notes available:

Handling and Using Casting Polyurethanes:
These notes describe the following basic principles:
- Preparation of materials.
- Preparation of moulds.

- Curing and Postcuring
Use of Polyurethane Adhesives and Repair Compounds:
These notes cover the following:
- Preparation of materials, including use of cartridge systems.
- Preparation of substrates.
- Application.
- Curing and Postcuring.
Troubleshooting Guide for Polyurethane Castings:
This Guide describes the possible causes and remedies for a number of common issues experienced when casting polyurethanes, including:
- Bubbles and Voids.
- Material Cure Problems.
- Material Cure Problems.
